De commutator is meestal een groot probleem bij defecten aan de brandstofpomp. The bottom end of the commutator piece is connected with a contact piece, and the other end of the contact piece can be connected to the brush. An elastic metal sheet is arranged between the commutating piece and the contact piece of the commutator to make the contact piece and the brush elastically contact and reduce the wear of the contact piece. The outer circumference of the commutator segment is provided with a reinforcing ring, which can increase the overall strength of the commutator. The metal bushing is made of stainless steel, which can protect the shell and avoid mechanical stress on the shell when the commutator is pressed onto the shaft.
